After Steve Moxey had worn down the talented Adam Sinkins 3-1, and Bob Anderson had narrowly gained a similar 3-1 win for the visitors from Fakenham, the match was very evenly poised. Captain Rod playing, a slower paced game than usual used his experence to overcome the up and coming Alex Hagag 3-1, whilst Hannah Jones was able to record a similar 3-1 win for Broadland to win the tie.
