| Report: | Bannatyne 1st Team vs Ea 3
Bannatyne’s were looking and expecting a full house of 20 points, but still could not field their strongest team.
They were also modelling the new sponsored team shirt. Thanks Gary Steward they are the business.
At 5 Mark Thomas went 2 0 down and was looking in big trouble, but the heart then started to pump and in the 4th game he ran the rally of his life. He strolled in the 5th coming out with a 3 2 victory.
At 4 Max had an easy game. He managed to get into his new shirt. He won 3 zip and kept his cool apart from one solitary chirpy comment towards the balcony.
At 3 Kevin ‘The baker’ Harvey had said Bagels were on the menu fresh from his kitchen. In the end the boys went hungry. He played Matt Johnson and came out with a close fought 3 1 victory.
At 2, Jordan Creed had a very convincing win against the league secretary. A strong 3 nil, to go with his strong immune system!
At 1 David Gouldby returned after being injured for last weeks game. He had the most comfortable win of the night beating Elliot 3 zip.
All good preparation for next weeks match v Broadlands
The Banners boys winning 20 3. Daddy Thomas dropped 2 but with no sleep the night before we understand.
The Baker on the other hand lost not only a game but a basket full of Bagels
