| Report: | Best match I've played in for ages! Both teams at some point looked like claiming the victory as every match was competitive. Dawson had 7 match balls before claiming it on the eighth as he but Tom Hunt 13-11 in the fifth. Martin Levens is a class act and although losing the first game to James Cultien won the next three in style. Rob Hambrook tried to play the fitness card in his match against Tom Bobbins but for the second week running had nothing left in the last game losing 13-4 in the fifth. Youngs had the benefit of playing a tired Steve Maitland who had played three County Matches at the weekend and ran out a fairly comfortable 3-1 winner. Match of the night though was the number ones. Both Tim Dixon and Darren Ramsey gave everything as the match swayed one way and then the other. Darren lead 7-4 in the fifth game only for Tim to claw his way back to 10-10. After some great rallies Tim finally claimed the game 13-11 and the match for East Anglia. Great night with some top squash was only beaten by Tim Dixon attempting to eat his meal!!! One hour after everyone had finished their meal and after Diss had gone home he finally finished and allowed the club to shut!! |
