| Report: | Chris played a consistently straight good length which kept Howard behind him for much of a one-sided contest.
Sam gave Lucy a good run out, with some great retrieving from all corners requiring a good show of athleticism and stamina. Sam was for the large part always in control.
Adam rolled back the years to come out on top of a 5 set tussle with James, despite going two-one down following a hard fought 1st game. Adam’s experience showed, as he varied the pace and used height to great effect.
Having won the first comfortably, Keane and Paul closely contested the next two, although Paul prevailed in both to take a convincing win. Everyone retired to The Bell for food and refreshments. |
