| Report: | Great to see the visitors from Cromer introducing more new players to Norfolk Team squash. A busy night of squash took place with Broadland also hosting their 4th Team match against visitors from Diss, also introducing their own new players into the League. So lots of new faces & variety of techniques on display!
The first 2 matches were shared with Jake gaining a hard earned 3-1 win against Matt, & newcomer Scott gaining a more comfortable 3-0 win for the visitors after a close, 16-14 first game. So all to play for at 1 each, but Cromer ahead on games won. Oli Millar was too quick & powerful for newcomer Jan @ no. 2 to put Broadland 2-1 up, & the tie was finly balanced going into the final match.
A monumental effort by Justin in the 2nd game saving game balls to take it 18-16 ensured at least a draw for the home team. Both players gave their all in the final 2 games which Ian narrowly won with some amazing retrevals & Justin running on fumes.
A well earned draw for both teams & great night of squash. Thanks to all for playing, Captain Paul for organising the team & huge catering effort from the kitchen staff.
