Sam Henden continued his improved form, showing some rapid court movement in his 3-0 win over Herman VDB to keep the match alive before the final 2 matches took to the court. After some great early season wins, Will Henden's form and fitness has dropped during the season, and unfortunately for the Broadland team this trend continued as Elliot Creak put in a great effort to win the first game, and then crucially save 3 game balls to take a 2-0 lead before sealing the match win 3-0. Steve Moxey for Broadland took the last match 3-2 against Richard Hunt, but it was not enough to prevent EA 2 from gaining their first win of the season in the last match. A win well deserved. Steve Cunningham beat Mark Phillips 3-0 in a friendly match to complete the evening. Very pleasant sporting evening all round.
