| Report: | The pressure on the young Broadland team, of potentially being able to gain their first win of the season, against a weakened Rossis team, was too much in the end. At fourth string Broadland's Paul Atterton was able to win the battle of the Paul's 3-0. Moving up the order, Sam made many errors, against Matt Sumner's few. In the end Matt's clean length hitting was too much for Sam. At second string Rob had a slow first two games, but was able to concentrate in the third and fourth to bring it back to 2-2, although he gave himself too much work to do with Simon taking the fifth and the match with it 3-2. At first string an entertaining match was guaranteed with Will's relaxed style of play mixed with Matt Bolt's flare and trickery. Will played a good third game to bring it back to 1-2. Matt re-focused and took the fourth game comfortably, for a 3-1 win for the Rossis player. |
